4. Please explain any spec/gear choices you have made to illustrate to us that you understand your class.
I'm a fairly cookie cutter spec Fire mage, I'm gemming for hit to maintain fire hit cap while trying to keep a high amount of crit. I'm a .rawr mage and use it to judge the dps increase between items I normally use mauradin's spyglass as part of my fire set for the crit + sp rather than the haste / sp proc from heroic dfo. My cape is the bad part of my gear set. I have been unable to obtain a decent pve cape but I'm going to get the sp/crit badge cape i'm 9 badges short. For Arcane I would be the cookie cutter spec and most likely use heroic dfo/twilight scale and regem for sp&sp/haste while replacing t10 legs with heroic kilt of untreated wounds.

5. Do you click your spells? Do you have raid frames adequate to dispell/BOP/intervene/tricks efficiently?
I have all my spells bound as well as decursive. I use default UI with dbm, power auras & omen.

6. Tell us about one encounter specific macro that helps you kill dragons.
I don't think I use any. However I use rank 1 frostbolts/novas on blistering zombies on valirithia, icelance to keep up the kinetic bombs on princes, a decurse macro for my 3s partners in arena/focus deep freeze/focus counterspell/cancel iceblock macro poly arena target 1,2&3...

This may be outdated as the person who recorded the WoL transfered with me to BDF with my rogue two weeks ago so some of the information may be old and not recorded any Fire parses

9. Raiding Experience: We are on the cutting edge of progression. While we are not World Top 10, we do learn and kill bosses as they are released, many times before complete strategies/videos are available, and have since early TBC. Please list your experience in situations like this in the difficult instances(naxx40, Sunwell, Ulduar, ToGC, anything else you deem hard).
My previous guild wasn't as ambitious as I would have liked them to be... when they went down hill we were 9/12 25h icc which was the top english guild in a sea of Brazilians (US-Gurubashi) but we managed a server first halion which I adapted to and knew all the mechanics on the first attempt. I raided with another guild on my rogue during togc on dark iron and were progressing decently.

ram - 4.00 GB
I maintain a 100ish ms latency and hardly disconnect ever

11. What is your availability for our raid days(Mon, Tues, Wed)?
I'm available all of those days however wednesdays I may have an ultimate frisbee game earlier in the day which may keep me til a little after 8. I never missed a raid or was late in the previous guild I was in.

13. List your previous guilds and your reason for leaving.
We Make Tofu For Living (US - Gurubashi) - The guild is going downhill due to two of the main leaders going casual leaving it in the hands of a two officers one of which is also quitting at the end of the month. Many are transferring, some to this server. The fact that there are so many BRs on the server and the lackluster quality of the players joining the guild have made our progression go backwards rather than forwards.

15. Tell us a little about yourself.
I'm going into my third year university at Memorial University of Newfoundland. I am studying Accounting as part of the Bachelor of Commerce program. I play hockey during the winter as a goalie and am an avid ultimate frisbee player. I enjoy other games such as l4d2, sc2, the final fantasy series, nhl games, whatever I own for my ps3.
